Comfortable stay with a spacious, quiet room.
I was quite disappointed with the breakfast choices. the cooked options were greasy and unappetizing. Also, the advertised free shuttle for transport within 5km wasn't available at times I needed it, which was frustrating. Furthermore, the stained carpet tiles in the hallway suggest a lack of attention to detail that shouldn't be overlooked.

I found the Ciloms Airport Lodge to be an efficient option near the airport. The shuttle service saved us, especially since we returned the rental car the night before our early flight. Rooms felt basic but clean, though mine had a noticeable gap under the door that let in hallway noise, making it hard to sleep soundly. The staff at reception greeted us politely but didn’t seem particularly warm. The hotel has a parking lot, but it was often full. Luckily, we snagged one of the last spots, but I noticed others parking on the street. A few times, the wifi dropped, but it was mostly reliable. Breakfast set us back $20 for the buffet, but it felt a bit overpriced for what we got. Overall, it's decent for a night before flying out but some areas need a bit more attention.

Family-friendly stopover
Our room was spacious and super clean,, the kids loved having three beds to choose from. The bar was nice, so I could relax a bit while they had a swim in the pool.
It was a bit pricy for what it offered but still manageable.
